Made in Ireland, by Royal Tara, which is a leading manufacturer of Irish giftware and souvenirs that combine functionality with heritage. Our teapot is made of 100% bone china - fine porcelain, smooth to touch and very resistant to chipping or breaking, which makes the product ideal for prolonged use.
The teapot has a capacity of 650 ml or 22 fluid ounces, with a height of 12.cm or 5 inches and a width of 20 cm or 7.9 inches, being convenient for a large family tea.
The design is purely Irish, as it was created around the motif of the shamrock. This very popular and loved symbol of Ireland has its origins in the 5th century, when Saint Patrick used the three leaves to explain the Holy Trinity to the Celtic pagans and bring the Christian faith to the lands of Ireland. The design incorporates lots of detailing, including subtle Trinity knots, which also represent the Holy Trinity. The beautiful shades of green, blue, gold and red combine in a charming manner on the white canvas.
