Our Ladies Aran Cable Knit Cardigan is one of the customer's favorite Irish knit cardigans , bursting with oversized Irish knit patterns that stand out against the base and add a beautiful texture to this classic piece of Irish knitwear. The cable patterns down either side of the front are bordered by a traditional honeycomb at the sides, while the sleeves feature a gorgeous geometric diamond pattern over layed above a single cable. The cuffs and waist are accented with a trellis stitch, giving this sweater a homemade feel.
Knitted from 100% Merino wool, the cardigan is super soft to the touch and the wide yarn gage lets the knit detail speak for itself, all while keeping you extra warm during the winter months. A feminine take on a traditional men's crewneck sweater, this cardigan can be worn buttoned up or open, and has slightly oversized sleeves that are perfect for layering. Available in both the classic Natural color of the first Aran sweaters as well as a darker Wicker color.
Hand wash only is recommended. Using a mild detergent, wash in lukewarm water and lay flat to dry after reshaping.
